Big sound, big stars

Some of the biggest names to come out of Logan will grace the new outdoor stage at Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct (KBF) this month.

On 25 February, experience an Eats & Beats like never before with more than 25 food trucks and a world-class musical line-up featuring Logan locals Dami Im and Zeek Power.

Beginning her musical journey as a virtuoso pianist, John Paul College alumnus Dami is renowned for her emotive and powerful vocals, which captured the hearts of the nation as the 2013 winner of The X Factor Australia.

She has since released a string of hit albums and singles such as ‘Alive’, ‘Super Love’ and ‘Gladiator’. In 2016, she went on to become ‘Eurovision Royalty’ when she earned the highest score ever achieved by an Australian entry with her global smash hit ‘Sound of Silence’.

Zeek Power, the talk of the Aussie music scene, will also be headlining at KBF. A fan favourite on The Voice Australia in 2019, singer-songwriter Zeek will be performing with his signature genre-bending style.

Prior to appearing on The Voice Australia, Zeek was named the winner of Telstra’s 2nd Chance Song competition with his nostalgic interpretation of Bob Evans’ classic ‘Don’t You Think It’s Time’.
