Logan Art Gallery Christmas Pop-up

Deck the Halls with Handmade Gifts

From 3 December, the Logan Art Gallery Christmas pop-up store will be back and merrier than ever!

Part of the upcoming exhibition kicking off on the same day, this once-a-year event features a curated marketplace of local artists, craft workers and designers.

A beloved Logan City holiday tradition, this art, craft and design pop-up store is now in its eighth year and counting.

Bask in the feeling of creativity and community whilst exploring a wonderland of unique and handmade Christmas gifts. Showcasing the work of over 20 artists, ceramicists, leather workers, jewellers and more, shop small and find something for everyone on your list.

On 4 December, a special one-off day of creative activities will be held starting from 8 am. Get into the spirit of the season with live artist demonstrations between 10 am and 1 pm, live music, an album launch by the Freedom Train community choir and the official opening of the Portraits of our Life exhibit at 2 pm.

This exhibit features the work of up-and-coming student artists such as Mei Mei Liu, Ariel Jiao, Candy Zhu, Angel Wang, Grace Luo, Manon Garnett and Christine Zhou. Through ink and acrylic on paper, these pieces explore current social concerns through the lens of their own personal experiences.

Bookings on opening day are essential – book online by visiting the gallery page on loganarts.com.au/exhibitionopening.

The Portraits of our Life exhibit will be available for viewing with free entry until January 15 2022. The Logan Art Gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm between Tuesday and Saturday.
