Trucks & Tunes rev up Eagleby

Every Friday night, a pocket of Eagleby comes alive with food, art, music and markets – and hype about Trucks & Tunes is spreading.

Trucks & Tunes kicked off earlier this year, and now it’s attracting some of the best cuisine, talented artists, and hundreds of people from across the region each week to enjoy a vibrant community event.

It’s all part of the Distillery Road Market’s revitalisation of the area, with Zarraffa’s Kiwanda Cafe, Posadas Cantina and Taqueria, and Sugar Creek Smokehouse already popular hotspots for foodies.

Trucks & Tunes is held every Friday and Saturday night from 4 pm to 9 pm, with a wide-ranging array of food on offer including German sausages, paella, ice cream, coffee and more.

Music acts vary each week, and seating is available for 150 people.

The Distillery Road Market precinct, and its first market experience Trucks & Tunes, are the brainchild of Zarraffa’s Coffee founder and Tonken Property Group CEO Kenton Campbell.

He says he and his team want to curate a “happening, playful and dynamic experience”.

“We have designed our weekend markets to celebrate our region’s love of fresh produce, dining and entertainment, offering guests a unique experience each time they visit,” he says.

“This is just the beginning and there’s much more to come in 2022 as we open the entertainment precinct, more eateries and a brewery.”
