Fearless Femmes fundraiser
Domestic or family violence against women is the single largest driver of homelessness for women, a common factor in child protection notifications, and results in a police call-out on average once every two minutes across Australia. Many woman escape violence leave with just the shirt on their back and little to no possessions or funds.
Local artist Carissa George desperately needs your help to raise $10,000 to help Brisbane Domestic Violence Services (BVDS) supply toiletry care packs for those leaving domestic violence. Each care pack costs $25 to produce, BDVS distributes approximately 20 care packs a week to those in need. $10,000 allows for 400 packs to be made.
