Field Day - Weed ID and Management

Join weed management experts from Oxley Creek Catchment Association and Logan City Council for this field day to view demonstrations of various weed control techniques for common weeds found in Logan.

You will be shown how to use chemicals safely and effectively and how to determine whether they are necessary.

This workshop will provide you with skills that you can take home to your own gardens and properties. Sign up today, spaces are limited!

Important information:

  • This event is recommended for children 6 years and over – parental/guardian supervision required.
  • Please ensure you are wearing long pants and shirt, sun protection, fully enclosed shoes and have a water bottle.
  • This is an outdoor workshop and will involve the use of weed management equipment.
  • If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking via Eventbrite to free up your place to those who are on the waiting list.
