Vegan-friendly restaurants in Logan

It’s easier than ever to find vegan fare in the City of Logan. From buzzing Mexican cantinas to top-notch Japanese barbecue, there’s something for everyone who’s looking to reduce their meat intake.

Here are some of the best vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants in Logan, where you’ll find delicious dishes that don’t rely on meat or animal products.

Sumalee Thai

This Springwood establishment is known for authentic Thai cuisine, extra friendly service, and environmentally-friendly packaging. Its menu has a dedicated section for vegans with plant-based versions of sweet and savoury classics like pad thai and pad see ew. The vegan tofu options are also must-orders.

Kastury’s Indian Cuisine

Kastury’s specialises in all things flavourful and hearty, with rich curries and vegetables cooked in a variety of gravies. This family-owned Beenleigh restaurant can serve up vegan iterations of the many vegetarian options on the menu. Don’t forget to order a side of their vegan pappadums to accompany your meal.

St. Coco

Brunch gets the vegan treatment at this Daisy Hill institution. Locally owned by sisters Amber and Cynamon, you’ll find specialty coffee and vegan options like avocado toast and their signature acai bowl, which is topped with cacao nibs, goji berries and a dollop of vegan ice cream. Yuan Yuan Vegetarian Delight

If there’s such thing as Chinese vegetarian heaven, you’ll find it in Underwood. Food is served family-style, so bring your loved ones and feast on dishes like sweet and sour ‘pork’ and spicy hot noodle soup. Although this restaurant has a strict no meat, egg, onion, or garlic policy, remember to confirm with staff prior to ordering as some dishes are cooked with honey.

Serrano’s Mexican Cantina

Since 1996, Serrano’s has been Beenleigh’s go-to for homestyle Mexican food. This eatery uses only the freshest ingredients to dish up vegan versions of nachos, burritos and more. You don’t need to compromise on flavour because the dishes are chock-full of homemade salsa, fresh guacamole, spinach, fresh corn and spicy jalapenos.

Rua Haung Café

This family-run restaurant in Croydon Road Precinct is a local favourite for a reason. Diners have fallen in love with the unique taste of Burmese cuisine – particularly the laphet thoke, a chilled and crispy fermented tea leaf salad served with Burmese green tea. Other standouts include the deep-fried lentil balls served with chili sauce and the creamy eggplant cooked with Arakanese spices.

1/5 North Rd, Logan Central

Shinbashi Yakiniku

Although this restaurant is known for its quality barbecue meat, Shinbashi Yakiniku is also great for vegan diners. A variety of vegetables are available to grill and dip in the restaurant’s signature sauce, which can be accompanied by sides like edamame, seaweed salad and fried lotus chips.
