If one word could encapsulate the aesthetic of some of the City of Logan’s most beloved hotspots, it would be diverse.
In 2023, we are constantly capturing our lives in images – and we want those images to be as beautiful as possible. Luckily for Logan locals, the city is brimming with spaces that are iconic, colourful, or tranquil, with beauty either natural or by design.

1 – Cafe on Cusack, Jimboomba
Thie quaint little café is not only known for its delicious menu, but for its picture-perfect setting. Comfy cushions, fairy lights, and lots of trinkets beautifully complement the laneway setting in a historic building. It’s no surprise, then, that this spot is a favourite with locals.
It’s also child and pet friendly – even better!
2 – Red Bridge, Beenleigh
It’s an iconic Logan landmark – and it’s pretty impressive-looking at night too. Visible from the M1, it’s been the setting of video and photo shoots, featured in a movie, is popular with walkers and park runners – and provides a striking backdrop to any photo.

3 – Wineglass Water Tower, Hillcrest
Rising more than 30 metres, weighing 400 tonnes and holding a million litres of water, the unique and striking Wineglass Water Tower is also visually stunning. It was built in 1984, with the lights for which it is now best known installed in 2003, giving it its gorgeous nighttime glow.
The tower also features regular light shows for various community celebrations, with 155 colour-changing lights creating a spectacle for nearby residents. The park set beneath the tower makes it a picturesque spot for those keen on a striking backdrop.

4 – Chung Tian Temple
Beloved by the community and home to many important cultural celebrations throughout the year, the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple is always open for people who want to learn some of the teachings of Buddhism and drink in the beautiful surroundings. 5 – Global Food Markets
Vibrant, colourful, bustling and diverse: the weekly Global Food Markets, held in Woodridge, attract people from miles around – and it’s easy to see why.
Here, you can find everything from the basics to adventurous dishes from across the world to cook up your own feast, and street food vendors to dine there. There’s always something to see and photograph at these markets.
6 – Muse Crystals, Loganholme
You’ll feel transported to another world at Muse Crystals and Mystical Gifts and the neighboring Muse Bath House.
While the bath house allows visitors to sink into crystal-infused spa treatments with healing benefits, the shop is filled with every crystal imaginable. It’s dimly lit, calm, and has a distinctly otherworldly aesthetic. You can also indulge in a tarot reading session, sound healing and breathwork while there.
7 – Beenleigh Artisan Distillery
This is Australia’s oldest operating distillery founded in 1884. The distinctive red building hosts private functions and regular ’Distillery Nights’ events, offers tours and tastings, and provides a great setting for special occasions. 8 – Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct
From the stunning plaza mural to the unique, character-filled Butterbox Theatre, the Cultural Precinct is a place for all the community. Whether enjoying high tea, attending a festival or show, or heading to the Milky Way Markets, the philosophy and aesthetic of KBF Cultural Precinct is a celebration of diversity, culture and expression that’s hard to resist.
9 – Daisy Hill Conservation Park
Home to the beloved Daisy Hill Koala Centre and kilometres of gorgeous scenic walking and biking tracks, the Daisy Hill Conservation Park is an idyllic, peaceful setting for family barbecues, exercise, or days out.

Logan has hundreds of parks – from neighbourhood playgrounds to expansive botanic-style gardens, wetlands, and water parks with incredible adventures for kids and peaceful tranquility for adults – it’s all available. The Logan City Council website has a full parks directory – and some of the best-looking parks are Riverdale Park in Meadowbrook. Tygum Lagoon in Waterford, Underwood Park in Underwood, Logan River Parklands in Eagleby and Logan Gardens in Logan Central: all great spots for a workout, picnic or mini photo shoot.
