Deputy Mayor calls time on Council career

Division 4 Councillor Laurie Koranski will not contest the upcoming 2024 Local Government election, ending an 8-year term in local government.

Cr Koranski – currently the city’s Deputy Mayor and previously the City Lifestyle Committee Chairperson – made the announcement at the Ordinary Council meeting on 24 January 2024.

She said her focus had always been on making positive change for the Division 4 community and the people of the City of Logan.
