Best City of Logan Christmas markets
With the festive season approaching, it’s the greatest time of year to check out City of Logan’s best Christmas markets. These markets are full of cheer and often include Santa meet and greets, holiday activities, carols, festive food and more.
There will also be plenty of artisan and gift stalls to explore, so don’t forget to bring your Christmas present shopping list.
30 November: Logan Art Gallery Artisan Market
If you’re looking for an extra special gift, don’t miss the Logan Art Gallery Artisan Market. Get to know local makers and browse stalls selling handmade ceramics, jewellery, prints, timber items and more.
30 November – 1 December: The Collectors Market
At the Christmas edition of The Collectors Market, Queensland’s newest convention for collectors, you can pick up anything from rare Pokémon trading cards, to Japanese anime figurines and quirky film-inspired earrings.
1 December: Calvary Community Christmas Market
Mark your calendars for family-friendly festive fun at the Calvary Community Christmas Market. Expect a line-up of food trucks, market stalls, free kids activities, community performances and to top it off, Christmas carols.
1 December: Tanah Merah Christmas Twilight Markets
Santa will be bringing Yuletide spirit – and a bunch of his friends – to the Tanah Merah Christmas Twilight Markets this year. There will be delicious food, giveaways, carols and stalls, along with lolly bags and professional face painting for little ones
1 December: Forestdale Christmas in the Park
The annual Forestdale Christmas in the Park event is back with everything that makes the season merry and bright: sausage sizzle, market stalls, kids choir, Christmas raffles, face painting and most importantly, a visit from the big man in red.
6 December: A Very Dickens Christmas
Christmas is taking over Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum for A Very Dickens Christmas, where you can revel in old-time Christmas charm. Browse through stalls while listening to live performers, say hello to Santa and sing along to classic carols.
7 December: City of Logan Christmas Carols
Add the City of Logan Christmas Carols to your annual traditions list, because it’s a surefire way to get into the holiday spirit (and the biggest Christmas event in the city). Council is going all out this year with hours of on-stage entertainment, festive activities, food trucks and markets, all jam-packed into one magical day.
7 December: DRM Christmas pop-up market
The entire family, including four-legged members, can explore the winter wonderland that is the DRM Christmas pop-up market. The air-conditioned Market Hall will become a bazaar of stalls with handmade jewellery, clothing, home décor, art, ceramics, plants, body care products and more. Keep an eye out for Santa and his missus as they’ll be doing the rounds.
7 December: Christmas Carols at Yarrabilba
Nothing says Aussie Christmas like Santa arriving on an ATV and a laser light show. There’s even more festive fun on offer at the Christmas Carols at Yarrabilba event, which will host a variety of Christmas market stalls, food trucks, ice-cream van and photo opportunities with Santa.
14 December: Christmas Village Market
Hosted by Brisstyle, the Christmas Village Market is set to sparkle with the spirit of the season. Browse through a treasure trove of potential gifts, from handmade ceramics and jewellery to home décor.
14 December: Flagstone Twilight Markets and Community Carols
Deck the halls at the Flagstone Twilight Markets and Community Carols, where there will be market stalls, food trucks, free Santa photos, an extra festive Christmas Elf Trail and classic carols to sing along to.
14 December: Christmas Greenbank Markets
You’ll find market stalls and piping-hot sausages fresh off the grill at the Christmas Greenbank Markets, which directly supports the Lotus Vana charity. Lotus Vana facilitates programs in Logan for seniors and people with disability.
