Footpath connection fills the missing link

A new 200m section of footpath has been completed at Heritage Park.

The path, on Green Road between Waller Road and Isle of Ely Drive, was constructed at the end of 2024.

Division 8 Councillor Jacob Heremaia says the footpath is a much-needed piece of community infrastructure.

‘Residents have said this has been needed for years,’ Cr Heremaia says.

‘It’s great that the community can now walk safely in this area with the missing connection now complete.’

The project was funded through the Division 8 Local Infrastructure Program.
