indelarts is a leading QLD theatre company for disabled and neurodivergent artists.
Learn the ins and outs of theatrical performance with this workshop series designed to build skills, knowledge and confidence. Participants will learn at their own pace with industry-trained professionals in an accessible environment where they can shine on their own terms.
The focus of the workshops is on the ‘performer inside all of us’. Each session comprises actor training exercises and applied theatre techniques to develop participants’ skills, knowledge, and confidence in theatre-making, while enhancing their social and communication skills, teamwork and relationships, and spatial and physical awareness. Each session is tailored according to the participants’ passions and interests.
There will be an open showing to friends and family to demonstrate performance skills developed during the workshops.
EXTRA CLASS DETAILS:
- This class is open for those aged 16+ and has no maximum age limit
- No experience is necessary
- Support workers and carers are very welcome to join
