Hey Tones and I - come play in Logan!

The City of Logan is answering the call by megastar music identity Tones and I, who is asking Australia to pick where to play a one-off all-ages concert.

The Australian ARIA award winner Tones and I put the callout on her Facebook page announcing she’ll perform ‘One big show’ on 20 February – with tickets for just $10 – inviting Aussie communities to campaign for her to pick their city or town.

She is encouraging cities and towns to make Facebook pages campaigning to host the gig, so she can select ‘whatever place goes hardest’.

The City of Logan is calling on Tones and I to bring the gig to Logan.

Why should Tones and I come to Logan?

With a population made up of more than 200 cultures it’s practically a world tour in one place.

It’s also the perfect place to host an all-ages gig as one of Australia’s youngest cities, with over 50 per cent of the population aged 34 years or younger.

Tones and I’s last sold-out headline tour in 2024 went to 8 cities, including Brisbane and Townsville but she has never played a gig in Logan.

Our city is full of music fans, having played host to music legends including Kate Miller-Heidke, Taxi Ride, Eskimo Joe, Six60 and Sheppard in the last few years.

With tickets for Tones and I concerts usually ranging from $80-$200, these $10 tickets would allow fans of all ages to afford to see the singer behind the hit song Dance Monkey, which broke ARIA chart records and reached number 1 in over 30 countries.

Logan City Council will provide the singer (who said online she would ‘bring the stage if it’s a small town’) with use of Kingston Butter Factory, which has an 8500-person outdoor event stage. The Kingston venue has convenient public transport access making it ideal to host the concert.

There’s one thing for sure, if Tones and I chooses Logan and plays her latest single Gone Gone Gone, thousands of her local fans will Go Go Go.

Let her know Logan is the best place in Australia to play, by visiting the Logan City Council Facebook event page, hit ‘𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆’, then spread the word with your friends and tag Tones and I in all your posts. She will make her decision on Sunday, 25 January.
