Scholarship opens for young Logan artists
Applications are now open for the annual Robyn Daw Young Visual Artist Scholarship.
For the last decade before her passing, the late Robyn Daw was Logan City Council’s Creative Industries Program Leader.
The $7,000 scholarship, which honours the respected artist, educator, writer and arts manager, is open to artists aged 18 to 35 years old from the City of Logan who use cultural themes in their arts practice.
Up to 8 applicants will be shortlisted to prepare work to exhibit at Logan Art Gallery between 31 October 2026 and 16 January 2027.
They will also participate in a funded professional development and workshop program between June and September this year.
Applications close at 2 pm on Saturday, 9 May.
