Chill out, there’s always plenty of fun things to do

Winter is here and the days are getting colder but in Division 2 there is a multitude of events coming up that you don’t want to miss, including:

Tuesday, 8 July: The NAIDOC Family Fun Day, organised by the Logan Elders, is on at the Kingston Butter Factory (KBF). Expect a day filled with food, culture and First Nations entertainers. Please note that parking is limited. Entry is free.

Tuesday, 29 July: Logan Area Committee On The Ageing (LACOTA) is hosting their Christmas in July seniors event with lunch and entertainment. Contact Carol on 3290 0088 to book your seat for just $10 per person.

Saturday, 2 August: Groves Christian College is holding its annual community fair with rides, food, stalls and displays.

In addition to all these events, there are groups all over Division 2 hosting activities every week such as sewing classes, seniors yarning, chiropractic and orthopaedic clinics at Logan Elders; the Woodridge Wanderers, who walk around Logan Central Plaza every weekday; and Marvellous Mature Women who meet at Logan Central Library every Tuesday at 9 am.
