New year, new opening hours for Logan Art Gallery and libraries
The opening hours for Logan Art Gallery and Logan Libraries will change slightly in 2026.
From 6 January, 2026, the Gallery will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, instead of 5 pm, to align with the Living Museum of Logan and Mayes Cottage opening hours.
The change will not affect after-school art programs or the Uplate programming introduced in 2025, which will both continue as planned throughout 2026.
From 5 January, 2026, all of the city’s 9 libraries will close at 5:45 pm on Tuesdays only. Opening hours are not affected.
Late night services remain available on Thursday nights at Beenleigh, Hyperdome, Jimboomba, Logan Central, Logan North, Logan West and Marsden libraries until 8 pm.
All online library services, including catalogues, holds, eBooks, and databases are available 24/7, and returns are accepted at all times via the after-hours return system.
