Flame flaring up again

Stomachs are rumbling in Division 9 as the community gears up for the return of Jimboomba’s Flame BBQ & Music Festival in September.

The family-friendly event will feature mouth-watering meats, top-notch entertainment and a line-up of amazing music acts.

Australian Idol finalist Jake Whittaker, who grew up in Jimboomba, performed at last year’s event and is ready to bring back his sizzling signature sound to the Flame stage.

‘I’m super excited for the festival. Last year was a cracker and I’m ready for round two,’ Jake says.

Division 9 Councillor Scott Bannan says this year’s event will deliver another 5-star festival for the community to enjoy.

‘Whether it’s Jake and our music line-up setting the stage on fire, or stacks of flame-grilled food setting tastebuds alight, there’ll be something for everyone,’ Cr Bannan says.

The 2025 Flame BBQ & Music Festival will be held at Jimboomba Park in September.

More details, and information on how to get tickets, will be available on the Flame BBQ & Music Festival Facebook page.
