Food Dudes students are great volunteers

The new year has kicked off with plenty of helping hands from schools in Division 2.

This includes Kingston State College’s (KSC) Food Dudes Program, Woodridge State High School’s arts and community program and the YMCA School signing up students to volunteering certificate courses.

Division 2 Councillor Teresa Lane says the young volunteers are developing wonderful life skills while helping those in our community who need a hand.

‘And special thanks go to the teachers and older volunteers who provide opportunities and support for our generous students,’ Cr Lane says.
