Future need for widening of Rochedale Road

Since 2018, widening of Rochedale Road has been in our Council’s future planning.

Rochedale Road is a boundary between the City of Logan and Brisbane.

The need for the widening and upgrade of Rochedale Road, from Underwood Road to Priestdale Road and beyond, was discussed in a recent catch up between Division 1 Councillor Lisa Bradley and Brisbane City Council.

‘Our recent meeting was a great opportunity to discuss the importance and need as to why an upgrade should be part of the future planning and delivery of both councils,’ Cr Bradley says.

‘Communication with neighbours is important to progress a project that impacts both parties.’
