Ison Park receives new court and path

A recent addition to the facilities at Ison Park is giving Greenbank residents more opportunities to enjoy active and healthy lifestyles.

A new half-court with a multi-sports goal system is now in place and ready for use.

A new footpath also connects the fenced court to a nearby shelter.

Division 11 Councillor Natalie Willcocks says the new stadium has quickly says the half-court adds to a bike pump track installed in 2023.

‘Our vision for Ison Park is to create a great place for people of all ages to gather and have fun,’ she says.

The pump track has been incredibly popular since it opened and now we’ve returned basketball facilities to the area.

‘We are also planning to create a bike skills track for younger riders, as well as making car park improvements and installing toilets,’ Cr Willcocks says.

‘I will be sure to keep the community updated with details as these improvements progress.’

The park is on Ison Road at Greenbank.
