More reasons to visit Alexander Clark Park

Popular Alexander Clark Park at Loganholme just keeps on getting better.

Work has started on Stage 3 of the $6.34 million upgrade of the park after Stages 1 and 2 opened with a well-attended family fun day last December.

The latest project includes a sealed 35-space car park, extended pathways and a new park entry statement.

There will also be additional seating, new landscaping, and general and recycling rubbish bins.

Division 10 Councillor Miriam Stemp says extensive planning has ensured the upgrade complements the natural environment within Alexander Clark Park, including koala habitat.

‘We are creating a very special place where families can have a fun, free day out while enjoying new park facilities and pathways that make the most of the surrounding native bushland and river views,” Cr Stemp says.
