Residents benefit from new Glen Road footpath

A missing footpath connection on Glen Road in Logan Reserve has now been completed.

Division 8 Councillor Jacob Heremaia says the works have delivered an important piece of infrastructure for the local community.

‘This newly constructed 200-metre section of footpath provides a link from Pelham Street and creates a safe and accessible route for hundreds of families who will now be able to access nearby estates and local parks,’ Cr Heremaia says.

‘Currently, there are more than 100 families along Glen Road who will benefit from this piece of infrastructure that will impact the daily life of residents.

‘I’ve worked with the community and Council to advocate for this project and I’m proud to see it delivered. This is a great win for our area.’

Cr Heremaia says he will now work on getting much-needed upgrades to other important local infrastructure.
