Resurfacing works and new footpaths delivered
Almost 2.5 kilometres of road resurfacing has been completed across the main thoroughfares in Division 8, delivering smoother and safer stretches of Logan Reserve Road, Park Ridge Road and Clarke Road.
‘Resurfacing works have been important for our area and it’s great to see it get done,’ Cr Heremaia says.
‘Fixing the road surface has created safer and smoother travel conditions for our residents.’
The 2 new footpaths on Logan Reserve Road and Green Road have provided safer walking connections for residents to schools, public transport and nearby estates.
Road resurfacing and the new footpath connections are a result of resident advocacy, with residents raising the need for these important improvements at community meetings, lodging requests with Council and ensuring their voices are heard.
‘Thank you to all the residents who let me know about their concerns and need for better infrastructure in our area,’ Cr Heremaia says.
