Garden Party at Mayes Cottage

Join us at Mayes Cottage to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Bring your picnic basket, or pre- order a grazing box (by 15 Oct), relax under the mango trees and be entertained with live music by local duo Edgy & Hedgy.

Enjoy lawn games such as bocce, quoits and croquet! Mayes Cottage tea tent will be offering tea, coffee, biscuits and old-fashioned summer drinks.

Mayes Cottage is a heritage-listed museum in Kingston built in 1887 by the Mayes family, which has been preserved for future generations by Logan City Council.

General event entry is $10. Children 12 and under free, * must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Treat yourself to a delicious grazing box which can be pre-ordered for an additional $10. You can choose from a gourmet cheese box, assorted grazing box or vegan grazing box (gluten free options are available for all three box types). Grazing boxes must be ordered by 15 October 2025.

This event is wheelchair accessible; however please note the cottage itself is not wheelchair accessible. Service animals are welcome, but pets, smoking and alcohol are not permitted.
