Great Southern BioBlitz

From 24-27 October, Logan is joining forces with regions across the Southern Hemisphere for a global nature challenge – the Great Southern Bioblitz!

It’s 4 days of discovery, where everyday explorers like you help uncover the incredible biodiversity in our own backyards.

Whether you’re in your garden, strolling your street or hiking through Logan’s natural areas, every wild plant or animal you spot helps build a global snapshot of life on Earth.

Here’s how to get involved:

1. Explore Logan’s environment – your backyard, street, local park or one of our beautiful natural areas.
2. Snap a photo of any wild plant or animal you find.
3. Upload your sightings to the iNaturalist.
