Remembrance Day ceremonies in Logan

The City of Logan community is invited to honour those who gave their lives in service on Remembrance Day.

Tuesday, 11 November marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War 1 – every year at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions around the world pause in silence to remember the sacrifices many have made so we can enjoy life today.

Local ceremonies planned for 2025 include:

Logan Central Cenotaph: Logan City Council will deliver a short ceremony to mark Remembrance Day and observe a minute’s silence at 11 am.

10:45 am to 11:10 am at Logan Central Cenotaph, Corner of Jacaranda Ave and Wembley Rd, Logan Central

Springwood Park

10:30 am to 11:30 am at Springwood Park, Cinderella Dr, Springwood

Beenleigh War Memorial

10:30 am at Beenleigh War Memorial, Corner James and Crete streets, Beenleigh

Logan Village Cenotaph

10:30 am to 11 am at Logan Village Cenotaph, Wharf St, Logan Village

Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch Memorial Gardens

10:45 am to 11:30 am at Greenbank Services Club Memorial, 54 Anzac Ave, Hillcrest
