The perfect cup: 10 of Logan’s favourite coffee shops

Logan is a city of coffee-lovers – and luckily, every suburb has plenty of options when it comes to getting a caffeine fix. We rounded up some of our favourites. Check out the list below and try them out – we’d love to hear about more. Tell us what you think is the best coffee shop in Logan.

Extraction Artisan Coffee

The team at Extraction, Slacks Creek, is passionate about coffee – and it shows. For those who are obsessed with quality coffee, this is the team to see. The café and roastery even offers a barista skills course for people seeking a job in hospitality – or just wanting to impress friends with their at-home coffee machine.

Café 63

With 38 locations across South East Queensland, and 5 in Logan, there’s a reason Café 63 is always buzzing. Its delicious menu has something for everyone, and the coffee is always spot on. You’ll find Café 63 in Springwood, Underwood, Park Ridge, Yarrabilba and Beenleigh.

Kiwanda Café

It calls itself a mecca for coffee lovers and it’s not wrong – the factory concept café provides all of the iconic Zarraffas Coffee blends in a stylish, cosy space that’s part of the Distillery Road Markets precinct at Eagleby.

Blackout Coffee

With locations in Crestmead and, more recently, Meadowbrook – at the Griffith Uni campus – Blackout Coffee is renowned for its edgy aesthetic, amazing food and divine specialty coffee. It’s a favourite of locals for catering, too.

Café on Cusack

Quaint, quirky, friendly, and bedecked with fairy lights – Café on Cusack has all the right ingredients for a great coffee break, including skilled baristas and beautiful blends. It’s beloved by the Jimboomba community and always filled with happy customers.

The Foxy Coffee

A favourite with locals, this stylish centrally-located venue at Loganholme is popular for breakfast meetings, lunchtime catch-ups and relaxed brunches – or any time you need a pick-me-up during the day.

Luv A Coffee Beenleigh

This family-run café is a feel-good place to celebrate birthdays, baby showers, or milestones. The skilfully-made coffee is accompanied by a varied, delicious menu. It’s easy to see why the regulars keep going back.

Shorties Espresso Bar

A hidden gem in Shailer Park, this stylish café serves up specialty coffee brewed with Elixir beans and has cold drip available.  Its menu ranges from cake to comfort food, and there’s always something to read or look at.

Coffee on Wembley

The many regulars at this Logan Central venue swear it’s the best coffee in town – and the service is spot-on too. With a focus as squarely on community as it is on roasting the perfect blend, it’s a great place to hang out and get a buzz from caffeine and conversation.

Simply Beans

The Simply Beans team takes its coffee seriously. The espresso bar, café and wholesaler offers a huge range of blends and the staff are coffee fanatics always willing to chat about what makes a great cup.
