Hot rod fans unite at Loganholme

A shared interest in classic vehicles is what brings together members of Loganholme-based car club Rods Inc.
Rods Inc is a family-oriented, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the automotive hobby of hot rodding.
Councillor Miriam Stemp says this group of avid car lovers is dedicated to the restoration of original hot rods and classic vehicles built up to 1979 and the joy of driving their vehicles from another era.
‘They are a great bunch of men and women who are passionate about their cars, know how to have fun and have a big heart for the community
too,’ she says.
Founded in 1964, Rods Inc was open to the owners of hot rods built before 1948. Earlier this year, members voted to extend membership to the owners of classic and custom cars built from 1949 to 1979.
Club President Brian Lewis says everyone is welcome to attend the club’s fortnightly meetings and take part in any of its car runs throughout
South East Queensland. Event dates can be found on its website or enquiries about the club can be directed to secretary@rodsinc.com.au.
