Be patient around Flagstone roadworks

Works are underway in Flagstone to improve the condition of Bushman Drive.

Council is repairing a 3.6km section of the road from the Flagstone Central Shopping Centre to just south of Blacksmith Ct.

Councillor Natalie Willcocks says the 3-month project will mostly be completed between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday to Saturday, but some intersection works may be completed at night.

‘Bushman Dr is one of the main roads in and out of Flagstone, so I encourage people to plan ahead and allow extra travel time or choose another route if possible,’ Cr Willcocks says.

‘There will also be changed traffic conditions including reduced speed limits and lane closures.’

Council’s contractor will notify affected residents of any localised impacts such as temporary restrictions to accessing driveways.

‘We appreciate everyone’s patience while these essential works are completed,’ Cr Willcocks says.
