Eridani Park to shine after makeover

Residents of Kingston were recently invited to attend a community consultation seeking feedback on plans to improve facilities and play spaces at Eridani Park.
With existing structures and courts all being retained, the funding secured for Division 2 will be spent on a range of upgrades.
These include a nature play area, new murals on fences backing onto the park, new terraced seating areas for community events, handball courts, volleyball court, sepak takraw courts, pump track for bikes, some gym equipment, painted walkway fun with hopscotch courts, additional pathways, new seating and new toilets.
Division 2 Councillor Teresa Lane says she will incorporate community feedback into the final design so that work can begin on this great community project for the park.
‘With final touches going into the plan, residents are keen to see works commence,’ she says.
