Peace stands out in Windaroo

Messages of peace in multilanguages are popping up in parks across the city.
The ‘peace poles’ are a Rotary Club initiative, commemorating 100 years in Australia.
The latest to be installed is at Peace Park in Windaroo.
Councillor Laurie Koranksi had the peace pole installed using divisional funds from Council’s Local Infrastructure Program.
Rotary Club President Heather Kucks says the initiative was being rolled out worldwide.
