Carvers Park is perfect for everyone
Nestled in booming Park Ridge is a haven for young and old to enjoy.
Carvers Park is one of the newer parks in Division 8 and Councillor Jacob Heremaia says it’s become a popular meeting place for locals.
‘One of my favourite parts of the park is the learn-to-ride track,’ Cr Heremaia says.
‘With roundabouts, pedestrian crossings and signs, it teaches our youngest riders some of the road rules in a fun setting.
‘Older children aren’t forgotten either, with a flying fox, swings, climbing equipment and big slides.’
Cr Heremaia says Park Ridge has experienced significant residential growth over the past few years.
‘The population has more than doubled from around 4000 people in 2016 to more than 10,000 in the 2021 Census,’ he says.
‘Parks like Carvers Park and other community facilities are important for building quality lifestyles for those who choose to make their home here in the City of Logan.’
Carvers Park is at 132 Park Ridge Rd, Park Ridge.
