Have your say on key local projects

Community meetings are a great chance to have your say on issues impacting our area.

At these meetings, Division 8 Councillor Jacob Heremaia gives an update on local road upgrades and projects.

These gatherings give residents the opportunity to identify the key concerns facing our area and figure out effective outcomes for them.

The community meetings are held at the Logan Metro & Sports Centre (357 Browns Plains Road, Crestmead).

Parking is free and complimentary light refreshments are available.

At the last meeting in April, topics of conversation included roads and potholes, intersection upgrades, new residential and commercial developments and the deployment of mobile anti-hooning cameras.

Cr Heremaia sought an update on local roads projects at Committee in May.

‘I look forward to seeing you at our next Division 8 community meeting on Wednesday, 12 November (6pm – 7 pm),’ Cr Heremaia says.
