Dig into the prehistoric past at the new dinosaur-themed playground at Riverdale Park in Meadowbrook.

Students from Loganlea High School’s Year 9 Signature Class can take credit for inspiring the mammoth Jurassic makeover by Logan City Council.

The upgrade works include dinosaur-shaped climbing structures, fossil digging area, fitness hub and more.

The project was funded by the Division 6 Local Infrastructure Program along with Council’s Major Parks and Asset Replacement Programs.

Riverdale Park is at the end of Armstrong Road in Meadowbrook.

It also features a parkrun course, a duck pond, picnic rotundas, large open lawn spaces and access to the Logan River.
