Music and family fun for park opening
Residents are invited to join Division 8 Councillor Jacob Heremaia for school holiday fun at Music in the Park later this year.
Cr Heremaia says the event will bring the local community together at the newly opened Flindersia Riverside Park at Logan Reserve.
Music on the Park will be full of fun, food, music and play.
‘The $4.6 million park includes large playgrounds, a flying fox, picnic shelters, barbecues and a basketball half-court, all with views over the Logan River,’ Cr Heremaia says.
‘Our Logan Reserve community is growing and this new park will be a fantastic place for people to gather.
‘That’s why I’m excited to invite locals to come along to enjoy live music from local artists, food trucks, free face painting and a chance to explore the new facilities.
‘The event will be held during the September school holidays, so I encourage people to keep an eye out for more information closer to the time.’
Flindersia Riverside Park is at the Logan River end of Halcyon Way, Logan Reserve. The date for Music in the Park will be announced soon.
