More park space for Logan Reserve

A new open space in Willow Logan Reserve estate has been added to the City of Logan’s extensive network of parks.

Division 8 Councillor Jacob Heremaia says Sweetfern Park is one of the newest locations on the list of almost 980 parks and reserves managed by Logan City Council.

The new 2-hectare park, bordered by Loganview Road North, Sweetfern Drive and Logan Reserve Road, includes a multipurpose court, open kick-about space, play and exercise equipment, seating, shelters and bins.

Cr Heremaia encourages the community to visit the park as it offers local residents an ideal way to spend time outdoors.

‘The park’s versatility means it caters for all ages, which makes it a great place for families to spend time together,’ Cr Heremaia says.
