Sights set on world stage

Rochedale Rovers Premier League football (soccer) representative Moses Petelo is gearing up for a new challenge.

The owner of Logan’s CrossFit EXF gym is hoping last year’s international success by a team of 4 gym members rubs off on him.

Team EXF qualified as one of 3 teams to represent the Oceania region at the CrossFit Games 2022 in the USA.

They finished 15th out of 38 worldwide teams and were Australia’s best-performing team.

Moses is now attempting to qualify for the world titles later this year as an individual competitor.

Councillor Lisa Bradley congratulated Moses and the team on the work they had put in.

‘I wish Moses all the best with his new goal as it would be great to see the City of Logan represented once again at this year’s CrossFit Games,’ Cr Bradley says.
