Paving the way for better connectivity

The $1.6 million Station Road Shared pathway project in Loganlea is now complete.

The project, delivered under Council’s Cycleway Network Program and supported by the Queensland Government, improves the off-road connection from Kingston Road to Haig Road.

This connectivity to the local transport network, reduces travel times and creates more opportunities for community and recreation.

Meanwhile, the ongoing Loganlea Road upgrade is on track for completion in late 2024.

Recent milestones include:

  •  the installation of strengthening components and completion of piling works for Ray Hodson Bridge
  • placement of the base layer for the new northbound lane
  • completion of the transition from overhead to underground power.
