The Best Of Logan - Crestmead dance crew now junior world champs

A group of Logan dancers are gold medallists after conquering the competition overseas. Members of Bloodline Dance Company, in Crestmead, are now Junior World Dance Crew Champions.

The ‘Hardknockz’ junior crew represented Australia at the World Dance Crew Competition held in New Zealand in April, attended by more than 1,000 international dance athletes.

Bloodline spokesperson Kisa Matautia says it was a proud moment to see the group ‘take it out’ on a global platform.

The Bloodline Mega Elite squad dancers also won the Hip Hop International Australia competition in May, making them the best hip hop dance crew in the country.

Each year Bloodline sends local dance teams to compete internationally, including to the Hip Hop International in Arizona in the US.

They welcome any sponsorship and support, including donations to help cover their travel, food and clothing expenses.

‘It is safe to say that Bloodline Dance Company is putting Logan on the map for the world to see!’ Kisa says.
