10 great adventure-seeking spots in Logan

There’s plenty to do if you are seeking adventure in Logan. Here’s 10 of our favourites – are we missing any? 

1 – Kingston Park Raceway 

Kingston Park Raceway is among the best go karting facilities in the country and is legendary among thrill-seekers. There are currently 2 tracks and more than 60 carts, as well as an onsite arcade centre and a café. It’s ideal for a team event, a day out with mates or a party. 

2 – Logan River Trail 

The Logan River Trail is a water-based trail that provides information signs along the river to help you find your way and discover the river’s natural and historical features. You can stop at one of the many parks along the way for a barbecue, walk or play.

3 – Bayside Wake Park, Carbrook 

Wakeboarding for all ages and levels in a gorgeous setting! Whether you’re seeking to upskill via weekly sessions or just after a day of fun on the water, the team have something to suit you. 

4 – Area 51 

Australia’s largest indoor family entertainment centre lives in Logan! Area 51 is an indoor play centre, sports centre and recreation centre with trampolines, rock walls, obstacle courses and more, spread across 10,000 sqm. There’s something for all ages, as well as regular night markets (Alien Night Markets).  

5 – Daisy Hill Conservation Park  

Adjoining the Daisy Hill Koala Centre  is a tangle of trails across the park and koala reserve, with circuits of varying lengths open to walkers and cyclists. These include the Spotted Gum Track, Stringybark Trail and Buhot Creek Circuit. 

6 – Springwood Stairs of Death in Springwood 

Named the Stairs of Death by locals, this challenging flight of steep steps is nestled in the beautiful Springwood Conservation Park, and heralds the beginning of one of the many walking tracks. It’s a test of fitness and a doorway to a beautiful trail, leading through a eucalypt forest with some idyllic scenery.  

7 – Big Swing Golf, Underwood 

Big Swing Golf Underwood  combines a relaxed atmosphere, state-of-the-art golf simulators, fully licensed bar with cold beer and friendly staff. 

8 –Logan’s skate parks

9 – Shark and Ray Gardens 

At this interactive aquarium you can pat and play with friendly nurse sharks and stingrays. As they swim over your feet and legs you can learn all about these awesome creatures. 

10 – Rage Cage Smash Room 

A unique way to de-stress, the Rage Cage Smash Room at Hillcrest is described as a “destruction services provider”. Don the safety equipment, select from a bat or a sledgehammer and let out your inner rage!
