Celebrate your neighbours this March
With the City of Logan being home to hundreds of cultures, a great time to meet and greet people in your street is Neighbour Day on 29 March.
In fact, there are several events happening around Logan during March to celebrate the Neighbour Day initiative, created by Relationships Australia as an annual day of action on the last Sunday of March every year.
Logan City Council is encouraging neighbours in every suburb to join in with the rest of Australia to connect with those around them and strengthen local relationships.
Council has a dedicated Neighbour Day webpage on its website with a variety of information to help break the ice between neighbours.

Following are some of the local neighbourly events and activities, with more details available on Council’s Neighbour Day webpage.

If you would like to introduce yourself and maybe start a conversation with your neighbours, it’s not too late to plan your own Neighbour Day event, or you can use a Neighbours of Logan connection postcard.
The postcard allows you to leave a friendly note or tick a box, and it’s your choice to hand it over personally, or leave it in the letterbox. You can collect them at Logan libraries, Logan City Council customer service centres, and local community centres across the City of Logan. Or download and print your own copy here.
