Logan's stunning outdoor wedding scenes

For those about to say ‘I do’, you don’t need to venture past the city limits of Logan to find a picturesque place for a wedding ceremony and to capture the magical moment forever in photos.

There are a variety of great parks and outdoor landmarks to choose from throughout the City of Logan, where couples can exchange wedding vows, celebrate with family and make the most of the scenery for wedding photos that capture the love in the air.

From intimate gazebo settings to glimmering lagoons, flower displays, towering trees, water features and spectacular backdrops like the historic Red Bridge at Beenleigh, here’s a list of lovely locations for couples to consider for the ‘big day’.

ROMANTIC GAZEBOS
Underwood Park: (Photo above) You’ll find lush greenery and a floating gazebo set over a lagoon. There’s also a boardwalk to make a grand entrance.

Concourse Park: Has a lovely bushland setting with a dam, viewing platform and gazebo.

Wembley Falls Park: There is a charming waterfall and pretty gazebo, with a grassed area, making it picture perfect. It’s advised to check traffic noise levels for ceremonies.

Red Bridge: (Photo above) For a striking architectural backdrop with great perspective for photos, this historic landmark is particularly stunning at twilight.

Anzac Park: (Photo above) Plan a springtime wedding here for a stunning purple canopy of blooming jacaranda trees from around October and November.

Lancaster Park: (Photo above) Offering spacious gardens and a gazebo, this spot is also known as ‘The Rose Garden’ for magnificent roses throughout the park (pruned June to September).
