2026 Lunar New Year Celebrations

Join in the celebrations at the spiritual and cultural hub for Humanistic Buddhism and Chinese cultural learning, at the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple in Priestdale.

From 15 to 18 February, there will be a range of celebratory events. These include:

Sunday 15 Feb – Chun Tian Cultural Day: From 9 am. Includes vegetarian cooking classes, a temple tour and lion dance. See the website for times and details.

Monday 16 Feb – Lunar New Year’s Eve: From 6 pm. Includes vegetarian food, cultural performances, lion dance, kung fu performance, morning chanting and ringing of the blessing bells. See the website for times and details.

Tuesday 17 Feb – Lunar New Year: From 10 am. Includes vegetarian food, tea chan, Light Offering Blessing Dharma Service. See the website for times and details.
