Exhibitions opening
Mayor Jon Raven and Councillors of the City of Logan invite you to celebrate the opening of 2 new exhibitions at Logan Art Gallery in Logan Central.
Gather at the Gallery from 5:30 pm on Friday, 19 June, for the launch of Where do I belong? and the Uncle Reg Knox memorial exhibition.

About Where Do I Belong?
Where do I belong? is a contemporary exhibition which explores the beauty and vulnerability of our native birds, while sparking hope and action for a more sustainable world. This exhibition brings together local, Queensland and nationally based artists in a vibrant celebration of art, nature, and community. Everyone is invited to imagine a future where Australia’s birdlife thrives.
It will include new commissioned works and loaned artworks by established artists across Queensland and Australia. Exhibiting artists include Richard Lewer, Lucy Culliton, Del Kathryn Barton, Anna Louise Richardson, Michael Cook, Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Ben Quilty, Leila Jeffreys, and Dead Puppet Society. About the Uncle Reg Knox memorial exhibition
This exhibition honours the legacy of celebrated Aboriginal artist Uncle Reg Knox (1930-2020). Featuring works from the Logan Art Collection and local First Nations artists, the exhibition reflects Knox’s enduring influence on community and culture.
