Urban farm and food forest

Collaboration ensures farm project blossoms

CityStudio Logan’s latest project combines agriculture, problem solving, collaboration, connection to land, awareness of social issues and high school/university connections.

The Loganlea High Urban Farm and Food Forest Project brings together 5 Year 10 and 11 students from Loganlea State High School agribusiness trade centre, 30 first-year Griffith University students, The Mini Farm Project and Logan City Council to expand the urban farm and create an Indigenous food forest.

The urban farm and food forest will sit on the 56 ha of river-adjacent land at Loganlea High School, and will provide food for people in need.

This project was completed as part of CityStudio Logan which was operational from July 1st, 2018 to June 30th, 2023. For more  information on CityStudio, please visit www.citystudioglobal.com
