Forestglen Park gets even better

Forestglen Park in Browns Plains is one of the most popular parks in the City of Logan.

The park features a modern accessible playground with soft-fall matting and shade sails, picnic tables and seating, along with a shaded barbecue area.

It also has a large gazebo at the end of a long, wide concrete path which makes the bookable venue popular for weddings and other celebrations.

Those visiting Forestglen Park will also notice a colourful new amenities block has now been constructed.

The unisex toilet block is fully accessible and has an undercover outdoor sink. The external walls have been painted with bright leaf-like murals.

Division 7 Councillor Tim Frazer says facility upgrades in local parks is always money well spent.

‘Anyone planning a party or get together over the coming holidays should consider Forestglen Park as a venue option. It has something for everyone,’ Cr Frazer says.
