Delivering safer travel

Improving and delivering a safer, sustainable and more reliable road network is a driving goal for Council.

› New traffic signals, street lighting and line marking
› New pedestrian path and raised signalised crossing
› Bicycle lanes approaching the intersection on Park Ridge Rd
› New footpaths, kerb and channel, and drainage upgrades
› Chambers Flat Rd, Holloway Rd to Kenny Rd
› New guardrails on the Chambers Creek underpass
› Providing new street lighting
› Resurfacing part of the Pleasant View Rd intersection
› Improved signage, including flashing warning signs
Other roads projects planned or proposed include:
› New footpath connecting to the existing footpath on Chambers Flat Rd and the pram ramp at the south- western corner of Chambers Flat Rd and Park Ridge Rd
› New Green Rd footpath between Waller Rd, Isle of Ely Dr.
