Proud City campaign launches

Pride in our City is the new narrative

The best, brightest and boldest features of the City of Logan have been celebrated in Logan City Council’s edgy new Proud City campaign launched today.

At the heart of the campaign are the stories of six local champions who represent the city’s rich diversity, vibrancy and heritage.

Image consultant Emma Willmann, traditional owner Shaun Davies, soccer coach Zohal Shahalami, barber Nicky Pati, farmer John Howes and market seller Muy Keo proudly show the City of Logan to the world and explain why they love to live here.

Mayor Darren Power said it was time to change the narrative for the City of Logan.

“Residents of the City of Logan know that our community has an authentic and colourful identity, unlike any other,” Councillor Power said.

“The pride in our City is deep and abiding, and it is time we make others sit up and take notice of all we have to offer.”

The Proud City campaign will be highlighted on Logan City Council’s new community-focussed website ourlogan.com.au, which goes live today.

The campaign also includes a bold promotional video, billboards, banners and digital advertising.
