Couple are 'torque' of the town

Husband and wife team Shlomi and Einat Kuba are the ‘torque’ of the town after their business K&G Automotive won the Best Automotive and Transport category at the 2024 Logan Business Distinction Awards.

Celebrating 16 years of operation in 2024, the Underwood business prides itself on servicing and repairing European brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Mini, and Skoda.

This award marks a significant achievement for the family-run business, which also won the Best Business in Logan Award in 2018.

Shlomi is an internationally-recognised mechanical engineer with more than 25 years of automotive experience, who leads the business with a focus on delivering high-quality service and repair standards.

‘Our culture is built on respect, transparency, professionalism and teamwork,’ Shlomi says.

‘We are proud to lead by example and strive for excellence in everything we do.’

He personally supervises all the mechanics to guarantee they deliver servicing excellence, and has led the business to have an emphasis on inclusivity with a culturally diverse team and a commitment to gender diversity.
