Greenbank Military Area Unlocked: Tour

Discover where history and nature come together on a guided tour of the Greenbank Military Training Area (GMTA).

While designed for defence training, the GMTA has become an unexpected stronghold for nature — a bolthole for endangered wildlife and ecosystems increasingly under pressure across Southeast Queensland.

Join OCCA during the Peaks 2 Points Festival for a rare chance to explore the landscapes, stories and biodiversity of this remarkable site.

Two ways to get to Greenbank Military Training Area:

  1. Chartered bus – Meet outside the Corinda Railway Station at 9 am for a 9:15 am departure. The bus will return to Corinda by 2 pm. Or,
  2. Meet us at the Greenbank Military Training Area at 9:45 am
