Powerhouse pair unite for Logan Christmas carols
Singing stars from Australian Idol, Rob Mills and Paulini, will bring the festive season to life at the City of Logan Christmas Carols in December.
Powerhouse vocalist Paulini and popular stage and screen star Rob will headline the entertainment program and combine for a special duet performance at the event, presented by Logan City Council.
Rob will also act as master of ceremonies on the night.
Logan Mayor Jon Raven says this year’s event is tipped to be Logan’s biggest Christmas carols ever.
‘Logan loves celebrating Christmas and I know the community is excited to return to Griffith University’s Logan campus at Meadowbrook,’ Mayor Raven says.
‘There’s nothing better than families spending time together and having a fantastic night.
‘On stage there’ll be something for everyone – from traditional carols and community artists to dance groups and a performance by Santa.’
The free event will offer lots of fun activities for kids including rides, face painting, glitter stations, colouring competitions, writing letters to Santa, making Christmas cards and ornaments, and decorating cookies.
For those hoping for a photo with Santa, there will be free professional photos available (with an instant print to take home).
The alcohol and smoke-free event will feature a variety of food trucks and market stalls run by local businesses offering unique Christmas gift ideas.
A spectacular fireworks finale will end the night.
The City of Logan Christmas Carols are on from 3 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, 6 December, at Griffith University’s Logan campus.

Fijian born songstress Paulini rose to fame through television screens on the very first season of Australian Idol, making it through to the final 4 contenders for the title.
Paulini is one of only 10 Australian female solo artists to have a number 1 album debut on the Australian ARIA Charts.
She forged a career with Young Divas and has appeared on stage in musicals such as The Bodyguard, Saturday Night Fever, Chess and Grease.
Paulini also appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Australia in 2021 and Dancing with the Stars in 2023.
Rob Mills has worked as an actor, television host and singer-songwriter since his appearance on Australian Idol in 2003.
He’s appeared on The Singing Bee, Dancing with the Stars, Celebrity Apprentice Australia, The Masked Singer Australia and most recently, The Amazing Race celebrity edition.
Rob was one of the lead cast members of Wicked and has also appeared in large-scale musical theatre productions including Legally Blonde, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease – The Musical Arena Tour, Hairspray and Ghost the Musical.
He was also in the cast of television series Neighbours in 2017 and 2018.
